Mental Health Professional, Compassionate Care

We are seeking a compassionate advocate for mental health and substance use support. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.

As a clinician in a shared-team model, you will provide intake, screening, and assessment services, treatment recommendations and plans, and follow-up support. You will also provide individual and group therapy, family support, and education to clients and families.
- Provide treatment and support for complex situations
- Provide short-term brief interventions
- Maintain client records
- Advocate for clients
- Promote quality improvement
- Participate in team planning and meetings
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or other relevant social or health sciences discipline
- Two years of recent experience working with clients and families with or affected by mental illness and substance use disorders
- Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association
- A valid Class V British Columbia driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes
