We are currently seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

The salary for this role is approximately $35,900 per year, based on a 20 hour workweek and taking into account the cost of living in Vancouver, BC.

Job Description:

As an LPN at Coast Mental Health, you will be working under the direction of a Program Director and Clinical Coordinator. You will provide nursing functions and direct care to clients with complex needs related to psychiatric disability, addiction, past trauma, and victimization.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to implement psychosocial rehabilitation principles, strength-based models, and trauma-informed care. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric and physical assessments, crisis interventions, medication administration, group facilitation, and other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized program for Licensed Practical Nurses and ability to maintain full practicing license with the BCCNM
  • Ability to provide/obtain the following upon hire: Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver's License, Valid First Aid Certificate, Criminal Records Clearance, Tuberculosis Clearance, Immunization Records, WHMIS Certificate
