About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of moderately complex Commercial relationships ($10MM - $25MM client annual revenue). Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experience, driving revenue growth, and identifying opportunities for cross-sell and upsell.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships.
  2. Provide proactive advice and solutions to clients, leveraging partners and promoting cross-sell opportunities.
  3. Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely conversion of leads into deals.
  4. Analyze and complete credit applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Build and maintain a strong referral network to generate closed referrals.

You will work closely with the Director & Group Lead, Client Relationships (Mid-Market) to achieve performance objectives and contribute to the success of our Distribution team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven sales and closing skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong portfolio management skills, including experience with sales pipeline management and lead conversion.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a strong referral network.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing credit applications.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Commercial Banking marketplace.
  • 2 – 5 years of commercial banking experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Undergraduate degree in business or economics or equivalent work experience.
