Branch Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Branch Operations Manager plays a critical role in the success of our team by providing operational and administrative support to the Branch Management Team and Advisor teams. This position requires a strong leader who can manage client account activities, ensure compliance standards are met, and provide software and process-related training to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Branch Director's vision and ensure the branch is efficiently and effectively managed.
- Manage the daily administrative operations of the branch, including approval of incoming and outgoing transactions, verification of documentation, and account openings.
- Assist with training new branch support staff and coordinate ongoing training initiatives for existing staff.
- Ensure compliance and internal control requirements are met.
- Manage branch technology access, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Manage sales support within the branch.
Requirements:
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH)
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- A professional approach to all situations to create a positive working environment
- Ability to complete duties independently seeking out own answers and solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures
- Experience in the securities industry
