As a Talent Strategist, Corporate Partnerships at Fashion Nova, you will have the opportunity to contribute to company performance by providing tactical support and consulting on people strategies in support of and aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Build strong business relationships with internal customers, driving collaborative partnerships that foster growth and innovation.
- Apply organizational values in personal performance, ensuring People & Culture services are aligned with these values and promoting a positive work environment.
- Facilitate induction programs for new hires, setting them up for success and fostering a culture of inclusivity and belonging.
- Consult with team members and management, providing People & Culture policy guidance and interpretation when appropriate, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers, utilizing HRIS modules to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support People & Culture business processes through the utilization of HRIS modules, maintaining accurate records and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Assist with resolving employee relations issues, including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations, and providing coaching and counseling to individuals and teams.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Act as a performance improvement driver for individuals and teams, providing day-to-day performance management guidance to management, and developing strategies to enhance productivity and retention.
- Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention, identifying training needs for individuals, teams, and business units.
- Three or more years of People & Culture experience, preferably with full-employee-life-cycle experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The ideal candidate works well independently, thrives in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, and juggling multiple priorities with speed and accuracy.
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Deep knowledge of employment-related federal and CA state employment laws, programs, and best practices.
- Must demonstrate strong ethics and influence, negotiation, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, the ability to effectively manage stress, and engage in continuous learning.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) and G-Suite.
- Human Resources Certification: PHR desired.
- BA/BS Degree in Business is preferred, with English and additional languages an advantage.
