About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our Real Estate Finance Group at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex files, preparing financing offers, and negotiating with credit departments and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis of complex files and prepare financing offers and letters
  • Negotiate financing terms with credit departments and customers
  • Assist in the implementation, renewal, and review of complex files
  • Review expert documents and prerequisites prior to disbursements
  • Ensure the quality of the portfolio is maintained
  • Identify risks inherent in the sector's activities
About the Team

The Real Estate Finance Group is part of the Commercial and Private Banking sector at National Bank. Our team is highly motivated and focused on expanding the market in Western Canada. We are a dynamic and collaborative team that values teamwork and empowerment.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in real estate financing and commercial credit
  • Relevant experience in customer service and negotiation
  • Experience in business development is an asset
  • Knowledge of products and services for businesses
