Data Protection Director

Ubisoft is seeking a seasoned professional to drive the overall player safety strategy for our productions. As a key member of our team, you will define the vision to foster a safe and protective player experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and Communicate a Vision: Develop a comprehensive player safety strategy for our productions, aligning with our company's goals and values.
- Educate and Raise Awareness: Collaborate with internal teams to educate them on best practices, norms, and trends in player safety, ensuring a unified approach across the organization.
- Monitor and Analyze: Establish monitoring tools and dashboards to track player safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement and informing data-driven decisions.
- Develop and Implement: Work with production leaders to identify necessary process upgrades, ensuring player safety education and risk mitigation are integrated into existing processes.
Requirements:
- Senior management experience in the online gaming industry or a related digital industry.
- First-hand experience managing online communities and dealing with user safety stakes.
- Deep understanding of technology, UX, software development, and business stakes related to digital spaces and the online video games industry.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of online gaming culture and community dynamics.
- Strategic achiever with the ability to drive momentum and build alignment in a complex environment.
