About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Edison Smart® in a key role that will drive the development of our IoT/Smart Buildings solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions for our HVAC software and controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless system operation.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and adhering to our coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software development.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software development, with a strong background in ReactJS and Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of graphics and UI principles, with experience in designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces.
  • Familiarity with IoT and Smart Buildings technologies, including BMS and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
