About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Carol Lake Metal Works Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision machine tools to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Repair machine tools and parts to maintain optimal performance
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Willingness to relocate for this position
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
