About the RoleThis is a permanent position requiring 1 year to less than 2 years of experience. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week and be fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Logistics Coordination: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Traffic Management: Advise vehicle operators of traffic problems and keep track of shipments to maintain efficient transportation services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking rules and regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in freight operations or a related field.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, responding to urgent calls and working with diverse teams. They will be required to operate radio equipment and record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
