Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis department, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's financial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex financial models to support management decision-making and assist in the preparation of budgets/forecasts.
  • Perform in-depth monthly variance analysis to help in executive decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly Reporting Package for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review monthly Administration Expense reports and distribute to department leaders.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to understand drivers of variances and the impacts on the business.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders of the organization to develop the annual budget, forecasts, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Support the team in preparing management material for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain an environment of continuous improvement by strengthening, modifying, or eliminating current processes to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.

Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a Senior Financial Analyst with a CPA or CFA designation and 5+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis work experience.

Additionally, you should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong FP& A and complex financial modeling experience.
  • Solid forecasting and variance analysis experience.
  • High standards of accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical thinker and creative problem solver with an outside-the-box mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable presenting to functional teams, management, and executives.
  • Strong ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work with limited direction across multiple functions and understand key trends and link strategy to the underlying drivers and impacts of the business.
  • Highly organized, ability to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and deadline-driven environment.
