Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Canfor (Fox Creek) Forest Products Ltd. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Replace Defective Parts: Replace or repair faulty machinery parts to prevent downtime and ensure production continuity.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Install New Equipment: Install new machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
