About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Shared Health Inc. as a Medical Imaging Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines.
  • Position patients for optimal image capture and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • College/CEGEP education in radiological technology.
  • Experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or medical facility setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
