About the Role

The Talent Attraction Partner will play a vital role in supporting the success of our teams at GeoVerra. This corporate support role is responsible for attracting top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Headhunting: Actively search for top talent through platforms like LinkedIn and industry events.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent.
  • Candidate Engagement: Build relationships with potential candidates and provide timely updates about job opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Leaders: Work closely with hiring leaders to understand their recruitment needs and job requirements.
  • Job Postings and Applicant Tracking: Develop job postings for open positions and share them on multiple job boards throughout Canada.
  • Interview Coordination: Facilitate the interview process by scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Preemployment: Perform reference checks, create offers, and send out communications to unsuccessful candidates.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Follow onboarding guidelines and ensure all preemployment paperwork is completed.
  • Data Analysis: Work with the HR Manager to prepare and report HR metrics and statistics.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Commerce, Business/Administration with specialization in Human Resources as an asset.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a Human Resource Administrative or Recruitment role.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally in the land surveying industry, is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in headhunting, talent acquisition, and recruiting for senior level positions.
  • Strong aptitude for various applications and software including Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Service-oriented and capable of communicating with employees of all levels.
  • Ability to handle tight timelines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
