Global Tax Compliance Specialist

The role of the Global Tax Compliance Specialist at MUFG Investor Services involves ensuring timely and accurate completion of tax compliance globally. This includes compliance with various taxes such as Service Tax, VAT, GST, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the global transfer pricing program, supporting legal and outsourcing teams with the design of agreements, and ensuring transfer pricing studies are maintained in accordance with local tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure global tax compliance, including timely and accurate completion of tax compliance globally.
- Oversee the global transfer pricing program.
- Support legal and outsourcing teams with the design of agreements.
- Maintain transfer pricing studies in accordance with local tax requirements.
- Review monthly income tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
- Provide tax advice on corporate, sales tax, employee tax, and cross-border issues.
- Prepare and sign off on tax provisions and tax notes for each set of financial statements.
- Support compliance under Corporate FATCA & CRS related W8 forms.
- Manage all tax service providers.
Qualifications and Experience:
CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification. Experience with corporate international taxation is essential. Experience in the fund administration industry or financial services sector is preferred.
Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. Ability to manage and meet strict deadlines. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and management.
