About the Role

As an International Tax Compliance Specialist at MUFG Investor Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate completion of tax compliance globally. Reporting to the Finance Director, Technical Accounting, Tax, and ESG, you will be responsible for overseeing the global transfer pricing program, supporting legal and outsourcing teams with the design of agreements, and ensuring transfer pricing studies are maintained in accordance with local tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Global Tax Compliance: Ensure that tax compliance is completed accurately and on time across various countries, including Canada, Ireland, UK, Cyprus, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, etc.
  • Transfer Pricing Program: Oversee the global transfer pricing program, working closely with legal and outsourcing teams to design agreements and ensure compliance with local tax requirements.
  • Tax Provisions: Review monthly income tax provisions and deferred tax calculations, ensuring timely payment of tax installments.
  • Tax Advisory: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide tax advice on corporate, sales tax, employee tax, and cross-border issues, minimizing reliance on external firms.
  • FATCA & CRS Compliance: Support compliance under Corporate FATCA & CRS related W8 forms.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with corporate international taxation, preferably with Big 4 experience.
  • Strong team player with ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
