We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing exceptional nursing care to our patients in various long-term and acute care facilities in the Port Stanley area.

Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care, within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner.
- To utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- To ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including a comprehensive orientation to the home and the services offered within the home.
- To ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
- To ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and to follow protocols on all assigned shifts.
- To be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the residents.
Requirements:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), and proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year, as well as Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shift times, including eight (8) or twelve (12) hours in length.
- Ability to 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.
- Ability to be reliable and available for placement at an agreed-upon facility/unit.
- Compliance with the RhynoCare Healthcare shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
