Food Safety & Compliance Specialist

At Rentokil Initial, we're proud to be a leading provider of food safety and compliance solutions. As a Food Safety & Compliance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping our clients ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to measure conformity to regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards
  • Observe food preparation and cooking standards to ensure food safety and sanitation practices
  • Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans
  • Teach and coach clients on best practices for maintaining a safe and healthy environment

Requirements:

  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search
  • Meet the requirements to obtain a CP-FS certification
  • Highly flexible Sunday to Saturday work schedule
  • Bilingual in French and English verbal and written communications is an asset
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs chest high, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability and desire to influence others with tact and skill
  • Ability to provide clear and constructive feedback in a positive manner
  • Thrives in an autonomous working environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work based on urgency, efficiency, and other factors
