As a Home Support Worker with Interior Health, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports clients' independence and ability to stay at home. You will provide personal care and daily living assistance while promoting maximum independence.


This is a casual opportunity where hours are not guaranteed, and shifts may vary. However, it's an excellent chance to gain experience and skills in healthcare, leading to regular employment opportunities within our organization.


The typical duties include:



  • Activities of daily personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
  • Household duties related to maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Meal preparation according to designated plans
  • Assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Observing and reporting changes in client behavior and condition
  • Performing delegated tasks according to training and procedures

Shifts will be scheduled days and evenings, rotating between 07:00 to 15:00, 07:00 to 11:30, 13:00 to 21:00, 13:00 to 15:30, and 15:00 to 23:00 hours.
