Retail Store Supervisor

Friendly Dollar & Discount is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of our customers and drive sales growth.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and secure.
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop staff.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and initiative.
- 37.5 hours per week.
