Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director, Global ERM Projects to join our team at RGA Reinsurance Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) projects to embed a robust risk management framework across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ERM projects to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact RGA's strategic and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and operations, to ensure effective risk management practices are embedded in business processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to business leaders to ensure they understand and manage risks associated with their areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, risk management teams, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure RGA's risk management practices remain effective and compliant.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a financial services or insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, practices, and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex risk data and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial services industry.
