About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at 2700216 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
    • Assign tasks and duties to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of merchandise.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage cash handling and reconcile daily sales and cash transactions.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Store Operations
    • Establish and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in English language.
