Job Title: Cleaner

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize common areas, including washrooms and floors
  • Collect and transport garbage and recyclables
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets
  • Dust and clean windows
  • Operate specialized cleaning equipment, such as auto scrubbers and carpet extractors
  • Assist with snow removal and ice melt application

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in cleaning or a related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and the general public
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials
  • Civil servant application required
  • Clear criminal background check required
