As a Janitorial Specialist, reporting to the Account Manager, you'll maintain a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the proper storage and upkeep of equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning common areas and washrooms
• Collecting and transporting waste
• Sweeping and mopping floors, and vacuuming carpets
• Dusting high areas
• Cleaning windows
• Operating the auto scrubber
• Operating the carpet extractor
• Snow removal and ice melt application

Qualifications

We're seeking a candidate with:

• A positive attitude
• At least one year of experience in cleaning
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials
• A civil servant application is required
• A clear criminal background check is necessary for this role
