Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Visual Communications Specialist to oversee the creation of high-quality visual content for our clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in graphic design software, and possess a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities
  • Estimating Time and Resources: Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations based on client requirements.
  • Adapting Existing Content: Adapt existing illustrations to meet client needs.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations required to meet their communications needs.
  • Sketching and Illustration: Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
  • Animated Drawings: Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
  • Production Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
  • Graphic Elements Development: Develop the graphic elements that meet clients' objectives.
  • Guidelines Establishment: Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
  • Sketches and Layouts: Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
  • Asset Utilization: Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
