Respiratory Therapy Educator, NICU/PICU, RT Leadership Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy Educator to join our team at BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs for respiratory therapy staff, including orientation, clinical teaching, and inservice.
- Participate in the performance and skill assessment of staff from an education perspective.
- Act as a clinical role model and resource for staff and division in the area of expertise.
- Provide education to learners, respiratory therapists, medical staff, nursing, and other health professionals on respiratory therapy-related clinical practice, equipment, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other disciplines in providing institute-wide education programs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
- Three (3) years recent related experience in a Pediatric/Neonatal tertiary care facility, including leadership activities.
- Successful completion of Canadian Board of Respiratory Care Examinations.
- Eligible for registration (RRT) with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
- Eligible for registration with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT).
- Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for patient population.
