Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre. As a Social Worker - NICU/PICU & Eating Disorders Specialist, you will provide mental health and substance use assessments and interventions to children, youth, women, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psycho-social and family assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Provide crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and individual, family, and group therapy to support children and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans that address the social and emotional needs of children and families.
- Provide education and support to families to help them navigate the healthcare system and access community resources.
- Work with community agencies and organizations to provide advocacy and support to families.
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work.
- Minimum one (1) year recent related clinical experience working within a child, youth, and women's mental health and substance use setting.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
