Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bel Cafe. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations and enabling us to make informed decisions.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is well-organized and able to meet the demands of our busy cafe.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at Bel Cafe, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring you to be highly organized and able to multitask effectively. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and be physically demanding.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
