Plant Operations Director

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on transformational leader to join our team as a Plant Manager. This individual will be responsible for directing and coordinating all manufacturing activities at the facility to meet and exceed operational goals and objectives in the areas of safety, environmental compliance, employee relations, customer service, product quality, cost, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive plant performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of production staff to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in a plant management position.
  • Proven track record of driving plant performance and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
