The Opportunity

BRC Group - Tayco and BRC is seeking a skilled Wood Machine Operator Edgeband to join our dynamic team in the Machining department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating wood machines, including CNC drill centers and saws, to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate wood machines, including CNC drill centers and saws, to produce high-quality products.
  • Follow established operating procedures and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and record data accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure productivity, efficiency, and adherence to daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
  • Ability to understand and follow established personal safety, security, and environmental practices.
  • Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and to carry, move, manipulate and/or position them.
Working Conditions
  • Occasional lifting of moderately heavy objects may be required.
  • Will be required to stand for 8 hours a day.
  • May be required to work overtime as required.
  • May be exposed to hazards associated with manufacturing.
