About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kochin Kitchen Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Staff Supervision and Training

The successful candidate will train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and will be responsible for hiring food service staff.

Quality Control and Assurance

The Food Service Supervisor will ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and will prepare budget and cost estimates.

Customer Service

The candidate will address customers' complaints or concerns, and will maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Work Scheduling and Planning

The Food Service Supervisor will establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
