Actuarial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Definity Financial. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting data to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of actuarial models and methodologies to support business operations
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases to support data analysis and reporting
- Communicate complex actuarial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve processes
- University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Completion of at least one exam from the Casualty Actuarial Society or the Society of Actuaries
- Excellent analytical, communication, and planning/organizational skills
- Strong programming skills in R, SAS, or Python, and proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of the P&C insurance industry and/or experience is an asset
- Competitive salary range: $48,700 - $89,800
