Actuarial Analyst Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain actuarial models to support risk assessment and pricing decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Provide actuarial support for financial reporting and regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to the development of actuarial tools and methodologies to improve pricing accuracy and efficiency
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement actuarial strategies that align with business objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • At least 3 CAS exams completed
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in P&C actuarial field (flexible scheduling during exam preparation and continuing education support for FCAS)
  • Experience with reserving, pricing, or modeling is a plus
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with SQL and R (or Python) is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
