Job Summary
RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality medical care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide Comprehensive Patient Care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and address any concerns.
- Ensure Quality and Safety
- Implement evidence-based practices to ensure the highest level of quality care.
- Identify and report any safety concerns or incidents to management.
- Document Patient Information
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Other Responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of care.
Requirements
- Education and Certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Skills and Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a long-term care setting an asset.
- Personal Qualities
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
