Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Assist in initial and ongoing resident assessments to ensure accurate and effective care planning.
- Nursing Coordination: Coordinate and/or carry out nursing actions related to the prescribed care plan, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Team Leadership: Delegate appropriate activities to Personal Support Workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing (RPN) or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN)
- Registration: Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) designation and able to practice with no restrictions
- Experience: Experience in Geriatrics considered an asset; experience in Retirement Industry or a similar setting an asset
- Flexibility: Ability to accommodate weekend shifts
