At ENGINEERINGUK, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Manager to join our Technology - Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the future of our industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in Information Technology supporting Enterprise network environments. As a trusted advisor, you will create and support agile, secure, and reliable IT infrastructure that enables us to keep pace with business needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of network and systems administrators, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Design, deploy, and administer LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and cloud-based network services to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of cloud call center solutions such as Five9 to ensure reliable services, call routing, and seamless customer interactions.
  • Manage corporate-wide networks with a mix of WAN links (MPLS, VPLS, DWDM, DMVPN, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to ensure our firm-wide network and communications infrastructure are secure, available, stable, efficient, and scalable.
  • Develop network roadmaps that align with overall infrastructure technology roadmaps.
  • Execute capacity and performance planning, overseeing software upgrades on production platforms.
  • Monitor networks to ensure optimal performance and eliminate downtime by troubleshooting system problems and performing scheduled maintenance and audits of the network.
  • Identify technology issues, develop required solutions, and implement improvements to enhance the network configuration.
  • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent problem recurrence.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for applicable systems.
  • Work with the Security team to ensure the integrity of components and processes.
  • Research and understand current and new technologies and architecture.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of ENGINEERINGUK's services, businesses, and industry.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology supporting Enterprise network environments.
  • Proven experience as a Network Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing cloud networking (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) including VPCs, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud networking technologies and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with VOIP and Cloud phone systems.
  • Experience with Cloud Contact Centre solutions such as Five9.
  • Experience with load balancer technologies such as F5, considered an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English, considered an asset.
Salary and Benefits
