Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Hope Wellness Centre Inc. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a home care and visiting care agency setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring.
  • Perform vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assist with mobility and transfer patients as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
