Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Ascent Logistics Ltd. in the exciting field of transportation operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing logistics activities, including dispatching personnel and vehicles, maintaining work records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle operators, crew assignments, and equipment usage
  • Dispatch personnel and vehicles according to schedules and work orders
  • Monitor and manage workloads, locations, and tasks to ensure efficient operations
  • Communicate effectively with vehicle operators, crews, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities
  • Process and transmit information using dispatching equipment to ensure seamless operations
  • Respond promptly to urgent calls and emergencies requiring assistance
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to meet operational demands
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; will train on the job

Compensation

Our estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
