Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Premier Auto Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Work Environment

As an Automotive Service Technician at Premier Auto Centre, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dusty and dirty environment.

Requirements
  • Experience an asset
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • English or French language proficiency
  • 30 hours per week
