About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Assistant to join our team at Humber Summit Medical Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date files
    • Process and manage medical claims, including health insurance and workers' compensation
    • Coordinate and schedule appointments, procedures, and tests
  • Clinical Support
    • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including administering tests and procedures
    • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and clean environment
    • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
    • Ensure timely ordering and restocking of supplies
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
    • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve exceptional patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
