Job Title: Document Control Specialist - Aerospace

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at Belcan Inc. in London, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain the AMO technical library ensuring accuracy and completeness of documents.
  • Review aircraft records and prepare work order packages for maintenance staff, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Verify completed work orders after task completion to ensure all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Transcribe log entries into technical log books and maintain a current database of AME training files.
  • Organize filing of aircraft work orders and component warranty documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Ensure parts picked up by AMO personnel have the correct documentation and fill out warranty documents for removed parts as applicable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of document control procedures.
  • College Diploma in Aviation or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with knowledge of Navision being an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and FAA Regulations, including importation and exportation of aircraft.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and follow-up abilities.

Salary Range:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
