Job Summary

We are seeking a personable and confident Registered Clinical Counsellor to provide intake assessments and treatment services to clients with various psychological and physical diagnoses. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients
  • Provide consultation and psychoeducational services to clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in regular team conferences and contribute to the development of effective treatment strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress and communicate regularly with staff members, clients, and referral sources
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
  • Minimum of 3 months of experience in a return-to-work/physical rehabilitation setting
  • Previous experience working with individuals who have experienced head injuries or chronic pain
  • Professional registration as a full RCC with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) or CCC with the CCPA, with authorization for independent practice
