Job Title: Parts Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team at West End Motors (FF) Inc. in a temporary position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering telephone calls and relaying messages, performing general office duties, and maintaining records on our inventory control system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to ensure seamless communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and record-keeping, to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Set up displays of retail parts and accessories to showcase our products and enhance the customer experience.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts, providing expert knowledge and recommendations.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy in all financial dealings.
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain records on our inventory control system to track stock levels and optimize ordering.
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Sell spare and replacement parts to customers, providing expert knowledge and recommendations.
  • Greet customers and direct them to contacts or service areas, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Client focus, flexibility, and organized approach to work.
