Job Summary

Chariot Logistics Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Load and unload goods from trailers
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Logistics and Communication
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Qualifications and Certifications
    • Hold a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
    • Meet all applicable regulations and standards for long haul trucking
  • Work Environment
    • Work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
    • Be available for on-call work and shift work
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in the field of employment is an asset
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required
