As a key member of our healthcare division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional security services to patients, visitors, and staff at various healthcare facilities in Calgary and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and medical emergencies.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents that occur during your duties.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and visitors.

Requirements

  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing work.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Availability to work day and night shifts, on 4 on, 4 off rotations.
