Chameleon Painting Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team. As a key member of our painting crew, you will assist in preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint and other materials, and ensuring a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Perform housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Assist in equipment and machinery operations, including roller painting and brush painting.
  • Participate in surface preparation activities, such as drywall taping and patching.
  • Travel to various locations to complete painting projects.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Meet weight handling requirements of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Wear personal protective equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and safety vest.
  • Exhibit reliability, teamwork, and initiative in a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel to various locations.
