Job Title: Live-in Nanny

We are seeking a reliable and experienced live-in nanny to join our family as a full-time caregiver for our children. As a live-in nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to our little ones, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting children to bed
  • Plan and implement engaging activities, such as games, outings, and educational programs, to promote children's cognitive and social development
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols and regulations
  • Establish a daily routine that includes regular check-ins with parents, ensuring open communication and transparency
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, dishes, and tidying up living areas
  • Assist with household tasks, such as grocery shopping and meal preparation, as needed
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the children, fostering a sense of trust, respect, and open communication
  • Collaborate with parents to create a personalized care plan that meets the unique needs and preferences of each child
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities, including meal times, sleep schedules, and any notable events or incidents
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a live-in nanny or in a similar childcare role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education or a related field an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and other household members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to keep up with the demands of caring for young children, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and needs
