Job Title: Live-In Nanny

We are seeking a reliable and experienced live-in nanny to join our household team. As a live-in nanny, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of our children, including their daily routines, education, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities for children, such as games, outings, and educational programs.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Monitor children's health and report any concerns to parents.
  • Establish a daily routine for children, including sleep schedules and homework assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Basic security clearance and vulnerable sector check.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking environment and will be required to travel with the family on occasion.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the household is English.
