Job Summary:

As a Laboratory Technician at CSA Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of products. Under guidance, you will set up, operate, and maintain test equipment, conduct specific and routine tests, and record technical data.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety protocols at all times.
  • Set up and operate test equipment, perform tests, and determine compliance with requirements.
  • Record technical data, draft reports, and write product descriptions.
  • Act as an assistant in complex or unusual tests, under guidance from senior staff.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and work area.

Requirements:

  • 3-year Engineering Technician (OACETT) or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in Engineering Technology.
  • 3-4 years of related experience.
  • Related certification to the field.
