Job Title: Carpenter and Renovation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter and Renovation Specialist to join our team at Lovely Renovation Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry and renovation, including preparing estimates, reading blueprints, and measuring and cutting materials.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a focus on construction and renovation projects. You will be working outdoors and in various locations, with the possibility of relocation. Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
